My Story

Meet Supernova! This cosmic canine came into our care as a stray from the community. Stellar Supernova is ready to blast into a far out future as your new best friend! Supernova is a sensitive soul and likes to take things on the slower side. He's understandably a bit shy right now, but with some patience and a little extra TLC you'll see Supernova come out of his shell and into your lap! He would love nothing more than to spend his time in a quiet, stable home where he can receive all the love he so deserves. Once Supernova feels safe and comfortable, (treats help!) his ultra fun and snuggly side shines through and he's the happiest pal around! Supernova wants nothing more than to play with his squeaky toys, frolic around the yard and lean into your legs for some prime pets and scratches! He's guaranteed to melt your heart and warm your home. Searching for a special star to welcome into your life? Come meet Supernova at HSCC and see if he could be your new best friend! Dogs: Supernova is dog social. Have a dog at home? Come meet Supernova at HSCC and if it's a good match, we will arrange for you to return with your canine companion(s) for a meet and greet prior to heading home! Cats: We have no history about Supernova with cats. Children: We have no history about Supernova with children. Due to his sensitive demeanor, he may be most successful in a home with teens and adults. Type: Wild at Heart Dog You'll fall in love with this dog because they may be: Free spirit- Intuitive, instinctual, unchained wild nature Independent - Not clingy, demanding, obsessive or needy Logical - More common sense than many people you know You might find this dog difficult to live with because they may be: Suspicious - Strong sense of self-preservation, discerning and cautious Instinctual - Wilder impulses can range from inconvenient for you to quite serious Self-Preserving - Can be difficult to train, confine and handle as a "pet."
