Sunny-adopted!

Hi, my name is Sunny and the name describes me perfectly. I am a sunny, happy, loving girl that just loves to play, play, play. I have lots of energy. My favourite things to do are wrestling and playing chase with the other dogs at my foster home. I also love tug, fetch, playing with stuffies and squeaking all the squeaky toys. I adore being outside in the snow. I like to put my head under the soft snow and then run around. I can be such a silly girl! I am currently working on my crate training and housetraining. I am doing quite well with housetraining except for a few accidents. Oops! In only 6 days I have already learned my name, come, sit and down. Now I'm working on stay, not jumping up, and leash walking without pulling. There is just so much to learn but I'm a quick learner. Just give me a few treats and I'll try to do whatever you want me to. As I've said I get along very well with other dogs. I even spent whole weekend with a cat and didn't chase her at all. I just watched her. Wasn't that good? I haven't met any kids yet. I'll have to let you know how it goes when I do meet some. I do love people, especially hanging out with my foster mom. I like to sit at her feet leaning against her legs while she pets my ears and head. It's so relaxing. Oh ya- I am spayed, vaccinated and soon will be microchipped too. I would love to take some obedience classes and maybe agility or flyball too, as I have so much energy. So send in an application. All I need now is my furever home. Anyone wishing to adopt a puppy must be able/willing to take an obedience class. We consider applications in the order they are received.

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
