Sunny-adopted

Sunny is a gorgeous, chocolate merle pomeranian who is looking for a new forever home. He is large for the breed standard, weighing more than 10 lbs, but he makes up for it with his beautiful coloring and personality. Sunny will be neutered, have all his shots, rabies cert. and wormed before placement. Adopting a dog that has been moved from a home to a shelter and then to a rescue is not for everyone. It takes time and patience to make that dog feel at home in his new environment. It takes at least 1 week and usually up to a month for a dog to acclimate to your schedule and home. An animal shelter is the most stressful place for a dog to be, with other dogs barking and not knowing what is happening around them. Some dogs come to their new home scared and timid. They will sometimes take several days before they start eating and have anything to do with the new adopters.

It's not easy rescuing a dog. It takes patience and time and LOVE. These dogs need love and understanding, not another rejection.
