Sunny is approximately 3 1/2 years old in these pictures taken August 16, 2008. She is great with the other dog we have her with at the Shelter. Sunny likes to play tug of war and enjoys her walks, although she needs work on the leash. She is not housebroken. Sunny is a very beautiful and loving dog who enjoys being with you. She greatly enjoys going for long walks with an LP volunteer and is getting better on the leash.
Sunny was adopted from Lone Pine in September 2005 but was returned in May 2007 because her family is too busy to take care of her and they did not want to put her in a boarding facility while they went on vacation for two weeks. Her former family didn't spend much time working with her. The family had an 11 (child was about 9 when they got Sunny) year old child and Sunny did great with her. They could not say for certain how she would do with younger children or with cats.
