Sugar Bear was found with, what we think, was her puppy in the summer heat. Both clearly had some skin issues and lack of nutrition. Sadly, her sweet puppy passed away from what we can guess was a heat stroke. Sugar was taken in and is being spoiled by a foster until we can find her a family. Sugar is being treated for her skin issues. It's just a flea allergy that got a little out of control. This is common in her breed.
Sugar is kid friendly, seems to love to play with other dogs and is very smart. Sugar would be a great addition to a family who's active but still likes to relax. She does have some separation anxiety so a person who works from home or who can take her to work would be perfect for this precious girl!
