Stoney

STONEY This 6-month-old male was rescued by a good samaritan from living in a very small pen with his 7 brothers and sisters. Then he wasn't able to stay with his rescuer either, as her landlord said he was too big. Poor Stoney, only 6 months old and still looking for a forever home. Stoney is an adorable boy and just loves attention and to be with people. He is housebroken and crate trained but can be a little bit whiny when he is crated. He is quickly learning good dog manners like its not appropriate to jump on someone when you say Hi and you must wait patiently to be fed. He is very food motivated so we're learning sit and down and stay, he even knows how to give his paw. He gets along great with other dogs and would love to have a buddy to play with that will help him run off some of his energy. He wouldn't do well in a home with cats as I'm quite sure he would chase them. He is good with kids but in his excitement could knock a smaller child down. He'd be great with kids that are at least 6 and up. He really wants to start this New Year right with a permanent home with a family that will love him.
