My Story

Why is it you think that people get a pet, promise to love it until the end of time, and then WHAM, out of nowhere we become homeless, free to good home, put on the streets, turned over to animal control. It must feel very empowering to know that you have control to wreck the life of something that can't even speak. Even after thinking about all of this and knowing that if I came back as a two-legger and would have much more control and power over things, I would still come back as a dog - we know no evil, give unconditional love and that will be rewarded in the end. But where are my manners? I'm Stevie, a male Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix born approximately 12/06. I am up to date on shots, neutered and heartworm negative. I am currently residing at a local vet's office and get along with all the dogs and cats there - so FYI, other fur siblings would be great. As I said, I am an Australian Cattle dog/Blue Heeler - a breed that really needs to be investigated before just falling in love with me for my looks. We have herding instincts and really like a "job" to keep us busy. I may even do windows if I'm feeling the family love.
