Starlight is one of four surviving pups found at an abandoned home on February 26, 2010. The rescuer was patient with the mother dog and with some coaxing, she led the person to the four surviving puppies.
The mother dog was a Chocolate Lab and very emaciated when found. She was taken to a vet for care, but could not be saved; she gave her life saving her puppies.
Starlight looks like a Chocolate Labrador with white on her toes that look like stars. She also has some white on her belly. Her DOB is 2-4-10. She is a little shy, but does well if she is not approached too quickly. Overall, she is well adjusted and doing well, especially considering her rough start in life. She loves to be held and loved on.
All four puppies will be ready for adoption on April 28, 2010.
