I am proud to say that I am a 30 lbs collie/husky mix pup 6 months of age and though I have husky in my blood, I am more Collie in temperament. I have not had the best life up until Gerdy took me and my buddy Kevin and pretty Maggie in. I have learned to walk perfectly on leash, I can sit and lie down when asked. I love to play ball and at the dog park I stay close to my foster mom’s side. I will bond very quickly to my new people as I want so much to be part of family. My foster mom keeps a very clean home which has shown me that they way I lived was not the norm. Now I am learning to ask for the door to do my ‘thing’, food is in abundance and my crate is my refuge when I am alone. I am a puppy so I do require some further training but I learn awfully quick. I have a foster brother named Maddox who is teaching me the ropes, and I am pleased to announce that he has shown me how to use the stairs…up and down. I am a very happy, fun loving puppy that loves other dogs and I would be great with older children as well. I do have foster felines that I have never known before, and although I do chase them in play, I mean them no harm at all – now tell that to the cats! So – I still have my training wheels on, and learning what is appropriate with the cats and what is not. All in good time I guess. I would love to start my life off brand new and fresh.
