Stanley

Introducing a very big, very lovable guy who has been named Stanley. Stanley has been in a home for quite a while but try as they might, his family has been unsuccessful at integrating Stanley into a comfortable spot in the pack with the other animals. Sometimes it just turns out that way. He needs to be an only child. He does not get along with other dogs and we doubt that cats would fare well. Too small and fluffy to resist. Basically Stanley is just a people pup. Stanley is essentially a couch potato but loves to lay in the sun on a nice day. He hates the rain but loves playing in the snow. Go figure! From time to time, Stanley gets a big case of the puppy zoomies and runs, and runs, then heads for the couch to snooze or look out the window. He does well on a leash and is a good boy when it’s time to kennel up. He’s currently just under 7 years old and weighs in at about 82 pounds. His adoption fee is $100. All of our animals are provided with age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. To meet our incredible dogs and offer them the love they deserve, stop by PAWS on Friday or Saturday from 10 - 4 PM, call us at 217-243-7297. We do applications in person or over the phone. This deposit is not refundable nor transferable.
