Sport is a 4 year old purebred pointer. Sport has been a kenneled hunting dog and is now learning how to be an indoor pet.
Sport's previous owner turned him in to a north Florida shelter because he was getting to old to care for the dogs. He said that Sport is a finished hunting dog , but requires a firm hand. Sport was often top dog at hunts in North Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
Well, we find Sport to be a very sweet dog who wants to only please his master. He has done well with housebreaking, is fine in a crate, and is good with other dogs, females preferred.
Sport is a wonderful dog that due to his hunting background responds very well to a whistle and is very obedient. He is ready for a home with a gentle owner that practices positive reinforcement only. Approved Hunting homes will be considered as long as dog remains part of the family. This is one sweet boy and he is fine with kids.
