Spook

Truly a beautiful, loyal, and brave dog. She will make a wonderful family member looking for a true companion.

Spook was born February 2, 2005 and is 5 years old in these pictures taken July 3, 2010. She is a friendly and loving girl. The volunteers, who met her at the shelter when she came to get pictures, fell in love with her. We were also very impressed when her mom told us how Spook had saved her mom by jumping in front of her to protect her from a poisonous snake. Spook was able to kill it without her or mom being bitten.

This is what Spook's mom says about her:
Spook was rescued from the Human Society when she was 4 months old. Her brilliant blue eyes won our hearts. We believe she is a mix of Husky and Shepherd. She enjoys being outside so that protected the gardens from the wildlife. When she is indoors, she enjoys taking a morning nap or to escape the thunderstorm and has perfect house manners. She loves a frisky game of chase in the yard or a lazy coat brushing.

My husband and I were in a car accident March 12, 2010. Consequently we have left the country home and now live in a handicap apartment to accommodate our limitations. We must find a home for our loyal companion. Spook gets along great with our daughter’s large dog. She adapts well to varying circumstances too. She is good with children and does not seem to have a preference over men or women. Spook's current accommodations are temporary and she is in need of a loving home. Spook has a history of sensitivity to low quality dog food. Medium to high grade dog food is necessary.

Spook is up-to-date on her shots, is spayed, and is Heartworm negative. She is on HW preventative.
