My Story

Spike is a sweet and smart boy who gets along with other dogs and really good with kids. He’s also very agile and can scale 6-foot fences and gates! So he needs to be an indoor dog, but he’s already potty-trained, and since he’s so cuddly, you’ll enjoy having him around near you anyway! The family who had to give him up was in tears and kept saying “He really is a good boy. When I was sick, he was by my side all the time.” With his looks and intelligence, Spike seems to be the type who can become a movie star!

Requirements: Since Spike is an escape artist, he needs a home where he will not have an access to outside on his own. This means you cannot be gone for work all day because he won’t be able to use a doggie door. Dog walkers are great for most dogs, but in Spike’s case, being handled by multiple people is not advisable, so he needs a stay-at-home person who is active and can give him a lot of exercise and long walks on a daily basis.
