Sparky 2-3 years old, 8lb papillion who has a sad story....he lived in on a puppy mill for his entire life as a stud dog, and was recently relinquished by the owners when they decided to shut down the mill (YEAH!). Unfortunatly, Sparky didn't recieve much time with humans or home living, as he lived outside in a muddy pen, and came to CCHS with ticks, fleas, and the worse part, poorly socialized. Since living with his foster he has done great with adapting to living in a home enviroment. He is friendly to the other dogs in his foster home, and is learning how to enjoy affection and inside living. He is doing great on his house/crate training and is enjoying his daily walks. Sparky also has been enjoying the affection and attention of the neighborhood children. Plain and simple he just wants to be loved and is very willing to give it back in the form of doggie kisses or snuggling on your lap. Sparky has been neutered and brought up to date on shots, and is Heartworm negative!
