My Story

August 7 Spanky has been adopted!!! June 10, 2010 Breed is just our best guess. We were told he's a Lab mix. Spanky is the most sensitive and loving dog we have ever had at the shelter. He is a “natural born” therapy dog. He seems to sense the aura of the people around him and acts accordingly. Here he is pictured with a volunteer who’s vision isn’t 100%. Spanky immediately sensed this and guided him on their walk. If you are looking for a treasure, please contact us about Spanky. We are located just south of Owen Sound and are open 7 days a week from 8am until noon. Our email is not monitored every day so please telephone us at 519 372-1911 for more information.
