Soy Sauce is a 10 month old Japanese Chin who was recently turned into our organization. The family had 3 Chins that they needed to re-home. They originally bought Teriyaki and Soy Sauce to breed (which they did) and were told they could make a lot of money off the puppies. When they weren't able to sell the puppies for a lot of money they decided they didn't want them any longer.
Soy Sauce was pretty shell-shocked going into a new environment. It took her a few hours to feel at home. Once she settled in, she was in heaven. She loves sleeping in the house and has pretty good manners. She likes to run outside in the grass but really wants to be with her family inside. It's as if she says, 'Hey! I don't have to live outside anymore. So I don't want to be out there.' She is a total lap dog who will spend all day on your lap if given the choice.
Soy is a lover girl and will be a wonderful companion to a new family. She is very sweet, gentle and very cuddly when she is comfortable. It may take a day or two but then she's all yours!
Soy is an option to go to a home with other dogs, with cats or with children who are well behaved and have had experience with small dogs in the past.
