With her laid-back demeanor and love for being petted, Sophie will be your constant, affectionate companion. She’s already potty-trained but doesn’t alert, so no surprises there. While Sophie is leash-resistant, she’ll thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can explore and play safely. Though she might be a bit shy at first, Sophie quickly warms up and becomes your loyal shadow. She’s a pro at car rides and is just beginning to discover the joy of playing with toys. Plus, she has a special fondness for treats! Sophie would be the perfect match for a middle-aged or older couple who can give her the time and attention she craves. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
