Hi there! My name is Sonny, I'm a young male dog. I am quiet, friendly and loyal and I would be the perfect addition to a loving family. I am very well-behaved and love attention, but you may find me very timid at first. You see, I was abandoned by my previous owner after being neglected all of my life, so I will learn to trust given enough time. I have already made great progress. I can now walk on a leash. I am working eagerly on house training but need my new owners to have some patience with me while I complete this learning process. I am good with other dogs if introduced slowly and about the same size. I get along with cats just fine. My ideal owners would be someone who is active and can take me on walks and adventures. I am a shy dog but will blossom into an amazing, loving, happy go lucky guy if you will give me the time. I love to be petted and cuddled and adore my lap time. My dream is to find a forever home where I can be loved and care for by my owners.
