Social Hound Mix EMERY for Adoption

Emery is a 2 year oldhound mix dog who strayed into the Modesto shelter, so is fully vetted and also was Professionally Trained in a 2 week board & train facility where he can be "tuned up" any time. He is sponsored by Heartfelt Hound Rescue 501c3 in Oakland. He has become the star of the dog parks & will walk away if another dog snarks him which is an awesome trait. Seems to really click playing with female dogs who have his same play style, but human-wise, Emery often gravitates towards males. This boy loves riding in the car, going for long walks & is the first canine with hound DNA who has great recall with humans he's bonded to. Emery is quite the house dog who also lets us know when someone is approaching the house or when he needs to go outside. He, of course, loves belly rubs, ear scritches & can be quite the silly boy. He weighs about 60 lbs or the size of a golden retriever & has been trained to heel at your side. Adoption fee of $425.
