And now, a few words from me:
Wow, I've been thru alot. I was living in a terrible place. I had no food, no soft bed, and no love. Some nice people came and got me. Then I was in a car for two days. A nice lady picked me up and brought me here to my foster home. I was scared but my foster mom held me and rubbed my back. I cried the first night because I didn't know where I was. But now it has been a few days and I like it here. I have foster brother and sisters who are gentle with me, lots of good food and clean water and a nice warm, soft bed. It is SO much nicer here. And now, a few words from my foster mom: Snowflake is a sweet little girl. She is very timid & shy but that is to be expected, given her past. She has never had anyone touch her out of love. When you reach for her, she lowers to the ground. It breaks your heart that she has so much fear - she so wants to be petted and loved. If you sit down she will come and lay next to you and give you her belly to rub. She really wants to be friendly and is slowly learning how to do that. If you hold her, she goes quiet and still but doesn't struggle to get away. She follows us around the house and is very curious. She always wants to be in the same room as you. She is not yet house broken, but why would she be? She has lived her whole life in a cage. We are not pushing too much right now as she needs to know she can trust us. She is wearing Doggie diapers for now. She is a very smart girl, so it shouldn't take long for her to learn where she should 'go'. She goes out with our dogs every few hours to run around the pen. She likes the freedom, but never goes to far from me. She is sleeping in a crate at night in our room as she needs to know she is not alone. Last night she didn't cry and didn't pee in her crate -- she's so smart!! She is scheduled to be spayed and have her hernia fixed on Nov 17th. I think after that she will be ready for her forever home. She will make a wonderful addition to your family.
