This pup has been through a LOT in her short life! She grew up in a hoarding situation with a lot of dogs in a house. She has been with us for just about 1 month. She has learned how to walk on a leash, and she will sit on command before she eats her food. She would rather sleep with her people than in a crate. She will stay in the crate overnight or when I have to run errands. We are still working on not going potty in the crate at night. She has come a long way with that this last month! When I do sleep on the couch with her at night, she never has an accident. She stays right with me and is all snuggled up! Elsa is finally learning how to be a dog! She has all the tennis balls in her bed beside my computer. She is like my shadow and follows me everywhere. Elsa has bonded pretty quickly which I have read is what a dog that has been rescued from a hoarding situation will do. While she does get a long well with my dogs, she is scared of new dogs and new people. She is getting better with this of course! My little neighbor girl is working hard to get Elsa to trust her! Elsa is warming up to her. It will just take some time and patience.
