In 6-17-06. UPDATE: We think Kelpie/Heeler mix. She's small and fine boned. She's not very big, just #45. A Super sweetheart. All her basic manners and obedience training are in place. She is a lover girl, but as is typical of both breeds, can be dominant and aggressive. Her aggression is directed ONLY at other dominant dogs. She is a super energetic, playful girl with dogs that don't challenge her "superiority"! She is the boss and that's all they need to know. Now, with people, she is happy to submit and let you be the boss. She has lightening quick responses to any command you give. She is happy to go about chores around the farm with me every day, off leash and very close. However, she cannot be trusted unsupervised around farm yard fowl or cats yet. She could be taught (and is being currently) to leave them alone, but it will take constant supervision and determination on her new owners part. Depending on how long she is here, the job may be done by the time you adopt! We are suggesting a home without fowl or cats just to be on the safe side. This is a little dog who would make an excellent agility prospect or flyball dog. She would like an owner who is active and likes to spend time with her. A jogger would be great if she had to live in the city, to help her burn off her excess energy. In the house she's a sweet, quiet girl. She is content to lay on her bed and work her bone. She is equally good with men, women and children. She is not hyper or overly active, but rather "just right" for her breed(s). She is not a runner, good off leash and on. Fine with the horses, goats and didn't pay any attention to the Geese.
