Smiley~Adopted

Smiley is a full blooded registered AKC Maltese and will be 9 years old in June of this year and weighs 7.9 pounds. He is a retired breeder dog whose breeder agreed to let him come to rescue instead of selling him to live the rest of his life in the breeder mill. It is his turn to have a family life and enjoy life. He has been well taken care of and has been neutered and has no health problems. He loves to be around other dogs and is very calm with them. He has not been treated well in the past so he is shy of people he does not know. He has never bitten and most likely would run away rather than snap if he felt threatened. He has been getting cleaned up and wil be a beautiful guy once all of his grooming is complete. He has had to have some of his hair cut due to matting but it will grow back in. He is starting to relax and will bond very strgonly with some one wiling to spend time with him and love him. He needs a little help on his housebreaking but is doing well. He needs a fenced yard to run around in and relax. He is crate trained and working on getting leash broken. We are sure he has never been on a leash in his life. His adoption fee is $125 and covers all of his vet care to include rabies, neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test and preventative, flea/tick preventative and Avid microchipping. Since Smiley is an AKC small breed dog, we will have alot of interest in him. We will only consider completed applications on him.
