My Story

Meet Skunk Skunk may be his name because of his coloring but he’s anything but stinky! Skunk is a 12 week old, male mixed breed pup. He weighs approximately 12 pounds. He has some fluffy but wavy fur which makes us believe there is some poodle in his litter of puppies. It is also believed they have some border collie. Overall, Skunk is a very sweet boy but also very playful and spunky! He is always very excited to see people. He loves kids so much he cries when he sees them and can’t play! Skunk also loves other dogs and has been in a foster home with five other dogs, two of which are his siblings and the other three are aged from 3-15 years old. He is sweet with all dogs and instantly submissive to them. Unfortunately, he has not been around cats to know how he would be with them. Because he is the most spunky of his litter, I am not sure he would be the best choice to be around cats. Skunk sleeps quietly in a crate at night with his siblings. They keep the crate clean at night. He has also been working on potty training and does not have many accidents inside. However, he is still a puppy and will require work to continue potty training and work to train him in general with commands. He behaves really well in the house. He has not walked a ton on a leash due to the heat but will easily adjust to it. Skunk loves to stay cool and will choose to sleep on the floor typically over a dog bed. He also loves to lay on the air vents. Overall Skunk is an awesome puppy who is sweet and playful and will keep everyone in his new family entertained. He hopes to meet you soon!
