My Story

Have you considered trying a rescue puppy on for size? Well, Skechers and Toms are the last two brothers left from our shoe litter! These boys are smart, social and fun-loving. It’s only a matter of time before they find their perfect fit. Initially thought to be Border Collie mixes, Skechers and Toms have definitely filled out at just five months old. We think they must be mixed with a much larger breed, and will likely surpass 50 pounds once fully grown. That said, they still exhibit the athleticism and eagerness to please that Border Collies are known for. They are just a little larger and more huggable than your average doggo! Skechers and Toms are also eager to show off the manners that they’ve learned in foster care. They are potty-trained, leash-trained and friendly towards other dogs. They are even getting the hang of basic commands like “sit,” “come” and “no”! Just like any puppy, these boys will need continued training and plenty of attention in their new homes to become the best dogs they can be. Apply to meet one of these chonkers and you’ll make a perfect pair!
