My Story

Simon is active and good natured, and he's a beautiful white/apricot color. Learning to walk on a leash is a new concept to him and he still likes to pull a bit (he's very strong!) but he is making good progress with his leash training. Simon is a people-oriented dog who likes to spend all day with his human companions and he loves to snuggle. When it's playtime, his habit of running back and forth has earned him the nickname "Zoomer" in his foster home. Simon gets along well with most other dogs, although he may become excitable and fearful with more dominant dogs, so he would do best in a home where his canine companions are less assertive. Simon would be appropriately placed as an only dog or a companion to a mellow dog.

Due to IntraVertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) it's important to monitor Simon's activities and avoid stressing his back on stairs and with jumping.

Simon has a shining personality and is the darling of his foster home - outgoing, friendly and affectionate he steals the hearts of everyone he meets.
