Sierra is a 9 week old lab, coon hound mix that comes from a litter of 7 that was rescued from Southern Illinois. I don't need to even say how cute she as you can see it yourself in the picture that is posted. She is a little more laid back than her sisters and brothers and wants to cuddle. She also loves to have behind her ears scratched. Don't get me wrong she still likes to rough house and play just not as much or as long as the other puppies. She loves to be held and take a nap in your lap and give you lots and lots of kisses. Her favorite treat is cheese and liverwurst, she is a great eater and will always ask for more. We are working potty training and it should be a breeze with her I would say she is the smartest of the group so it seems so far. She loves loves kids, new people and other dogs, she plays the best with my 130 pound mastiff, they are so cute together..
ADOPTION FEE: $325.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative.
ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org.
Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed. The best way to contact us is by email at
[email protected]. It is very difficult for the limited numbers of volunteers to return all calls. Thank you.
