Sierra

Hi, my name is Sierra. I am a 3 year old, cute, sweet Shepherd mix. My siblings and I were being given away to anyone who wanted us at a store before a S.A.F.E volunteer took all us. I can win you over with my big brown eyes and I know how to use them! I am grumpy when awakened from a nap by another dog so small children probably would not be a good match for me. I get along well with people, can be picky about my canine friends and have not had a lot of interaction with cats. I've seen them but they don't seem to be much fun. I love toys, playing, running around in the yard. Most of all I love hanging around in the house and helping you with your activities. II love treats! I am kennel trained but have become a wonderful house dog that is able to lounge around in the house with no behavioral issues.  I will let you know when I need to go outside to potty. I am housebroken. I am loveable and melt in your arms when you hold me. I will attempt to sit in your lap although I weigh around 70 pounds. I have a very laid back personality. I must go to a home with a traditional fenced yard for me to play. When its time to sit and relax, I snuggle next to my person to watch TV and relax. WE FINALIZE EVERY ADOPTION WITH A HOME VISIT THEREFORE POTENTIAL HOMES MUST BE WITHIN A HOURS DRIVE TIME OF CHARLOTTE NC. A FOSTER PET WILL NOT BE SHIPPED TO SOMEONE LIVING OUTSIDE THE ADOPTION AREA NOR WILL ANYONE BE ALLOWED TO COME PICK A PET UP FROM US. YOU MUST BE 21 TO ADOPT FROM OUR GROUP.
