Our loving and sweet Sidewinder (trust me, if you see her walk, you'd understand why we call her that!) found herself in an LA shelter after having been hit by a car. There she sat awaiting medical treatment as she had a broken pelvis, dislocated hip & fractured femur. Along we came to scoop this little pretty up and off she went to the vet for her diagnosis. She's since had her surgery and is healing beautifully!! She'll always have a bit of a turned in gate on her left side, but it certainly doesn't slow her down and there will be no long term negative effects from her accident or surgery. This sweetheart is a loving, affectionate, smiley and grateful little creature who gets along wonderfully with everyone and everything. She's house broken, obedient, gregarious and an absolute doll.
