She was a stray who was found with an injured back leg. The good folks at the Humane Society of Valdosta did X-rays and determined that it was an old injury, a fracture to her left tibia and prescribed crate rest and pain meds. She's doing great!! Shortbread is good about going potty outside as long as you get her out regularly and frequently. She sleeps in her crate at night but will cry if you leave her alone. She has a voracious appetite and needs to gain a bit of weight. Shortbread is still a puppy and will sometimes play with things that aren't hers, but she redirects well with gentle correction to appropriate toys. She is affectionate and loving and s sure to win the hearts of her new family quickly.
