Sherman is a very cute miniature Husky. He is too cute. He was recently rescued from NC. He was found hungry, roaming the streets looking for food with a belt around his neck for a collar and dragging a long heavy chain. Sherman's coat was such a matted mess that he had to be shaved-so his picture will look a little odd til his fur grows out. Sherman has been through the ringer for a dog so young. He was obviously chained and unkept by his previous owner. He is also missing his toes on his back feet. This is common for dogs that spend a good bit of their early life at a puppy mill in wire pens off the ground. Their toes end up getting caught in the wire and they rip their toes off trying to get loose. This little guy is a real trooper. This little guy is sweet, eager to learn and comes in a small package. He walks well on a leash, is totally house trained and does great with other dogs (big or small).
Sherman's best friend is a 140 pound Mastiff. Sherman did not know how to play when he first arrived. He spend time just sort of watching everybody. Now he is very eager to join in the fun. Sherman is a very sweet boy.. He is looking for his very own family.
