SHELDON HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!! Unfortunately due to family illness, Sheldon is in need of new home. He is a mahogany sable male who has some arthritis in one front leg, but this does not stop him from jumping up on furniture when invited. He is able to navigate stairs and loves to play fetch, although he does not always bring it back!! He gets along well with other dogs but not puppies as they are too rambunctious for him. He likes to have you right next to him while he eats and prefers to have your company while out doing his business. He thererefore would be suited as an only dog in an adult only, not so busy, household......ideally where someone is home all day as he craves human attention all the time, he will shadow you around the house all day long. He prefers men over women not that he doesn’t like women he just clings to his foster dad every chance he gets. He does not like being crated and will need an experienced dog person to be his new Mom or Dad, as he does have his *quirks*. Sheldon also has limited hearing. If you want a dog that likes to be with you every waking moment, and you are prepared to accept him for who, and what, he is...... then please consider Sheldon.
