Shelby-ADOPTED!!

The dog's name is Shelby, she is a female. She is assumed to be about 6 years old. I was to see her this week, and she is alert and well mannered for me. Dogs can smell a dog lover a mile away and she was more than happy to please. She is quite thin, presumably because no-one found the time or consideration to feed her. I would guess her at about 40 lbs. However, she was not food aggressive when prompted. Due to the fact that my husband works for Alpo, she is on Pro-plan now. I would prefer Wellness with a raw diet mix myself, in part because I work with a pack of wolves, thus my fascination with raw diets. Not everyone is so happy with this type of diet :) Her coat is mess. She was bald on the back end. Hair regrowth can be seen now. She has been given brewers yeast, and has been bathed in Episooth. She will need to be groomed. She has also been given antihistimines to calm down the itching. I have been told it was due to allergies. I have my own belief that it was due to flea infestation or stress. Could be anything. None the less, it is starting to look better. I wanted to take a look at her teeth, but did not want to stress her out by doing that. She is eating dry milk bones with ease. She knows basic commands well.
