Shelby started out in respite care (provided to IG owners facing extreme circumstances in an effort to prevent the dog from needing rescue by the Italian Greyhounds of Colorado) for over a month, as her owner was caring for an ill family member. However her owner made the excruciating decision to surrender her when it was determined that Shelby would be in respite for at least six month. She wanted to do what was best for Shelby.
She's about 4 1/2 months old, seal and white, up to date on shots and spayed. She is a rambunctious social little sweetie! Full of energy and always wanting to play. She's a little whirlwind! She is working on house training but will probably need more training when she gets to her forever home. Shelby will need a highly active home and would love to have someone take her for long walks and play with her a lot. Another young dog to play with would also make Shelby very happy.
