Java and Shayla are an adorable pair. They arrived very badly matted and pretty dirty. After a day at the spa they are looking and feeling better. We imagine that these two have been together for at least 8 years (as their tattoos are in sequence).
Shayla is a friendly and energetic girl. She is always ready to go for a walk or play in the yard with Java. Shayla is well behaved, but will chew on her leash when she walks. Shayla seems to get along with other dogs, but would need to meet any other dogs in the home before adoption.
Java and Shayla could go to a home together, but as this is taking some time, we are open to separate homes.
All the animals that arrive at the Shelter are stray. The information that we have on the animals has been gathered since their arrival at the Shelter., and with the help of our volunteers. We do our best to assess the animals and disclose everything we know regarding health and temperament to interested adopters
Adoption applications are available at the Shelter only. The application review process can take between 24-48 hours. The Shelter does NOT do same day adoptions.
