Shane

Handsome happy-go-lucky beagle boy SHANE is an absolute gem of a dog. He is a playful guy who loves people and other dogs. He's around 4 years old and fully grown at 30 pounds. He loves to play ball and loves his chewy toys and is good with people of all ages. Shane is housebroken and crate trained and just so stinking cute. Shane thinks cats are fun to chase, so no kitties for this boy. Shane needs a home with a physically fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. You can meet Shane at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog's veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog's final adoption fee.
