Shaggy

Shaggy is a sweet Terrier mix whose fur was very matted and long when he came in (see before picture), therefore his name. We had to shave all his hair off because it was so bad, and he definitely felt better afterwards. He has an approximate DOB of January 2023 and is fully grown. He could stand to gain a little weight, though. He walks great on leash, but likes to jump up on people. He is potty trained and keeps his kennel clean. He doesn't like going into the kennel much, but he does calm down. He takes corrections well. He wants to be in a person's lap at all times. He does have a little separation anxiety and it takes some time for him to calm down in the kennel if he can't see his person. Therefore, Shaggy is not apartment dog. He is very loud. He has met a couple of dogs at the shelter and he seemed fine with them. He's definitely fine with older kids, but younger kids should be fine as well.
