A few years ago, Shadow's elderly human passed away. The man's caregiver kept Shadow, but now cannot continue to care for the dog. She takes care of elderly people in her home, and feels Shadow is a danger to those using walkers and needing to get around. He's such a people oriented dog, that he is often underfoot and in the way. Currently Shadow is in a foster home, and has gotten glowing reports. He is sweet and gentle and very respectful. All he wants is to be around people. He gets along fine with dogs and loves the company of cats. If you can help give Shadow a permanent home, please arrange to meet him. He is really a special guy.
