Scruggs is one of four surviving pups found at an abandoned home on February 26, 2010. The rescuer was patient with the mother dog and with some coaxing, led the person to the four surviving puppies.
The mother dog was a Chocolate Lab and very emaciated when found. She was taken to a vet for care, but could not be saved; she gave her life saving her puppies.
Scruggs is mostly all black and the only male in this litter of four. His DOB is 2-4-10. Scruggs is doing well, especially considering his rough start in life. He loves to be held and will fall asleep in your arms if given the opportunity.
All four puppies will be ready for adoption on April 28, 2010.
