Hi, my name is Scout and I can poop standing up! I poop in the same exact spot everytime. I will make you a mountain masterpiece. (And the rescue adds - you won't have a risky game walking thru leaves and trying to avoid poop) I’m so darn excited to have humans in my life. I will kiss them every second I get. I love being outside, but these comfy couches, beds and snuggles are really drawing me in. Sometimes I’m so happy inside that my foster family has to carry or slide me outside. I don’t have any accidents in the house. Only once I peed directly on my brother in the next crate over because he was annoying me by sleeping and I wanted to play. I’m still working on how to be inside. No humans ever gave me the chance before. I don’t really get into trouble inside, but I will jump and smell anything and everything in a matter of minutes and repeat it over and over to make sure I haven’t missed a spot. Everytime I go in the house it still feels so warm and new. I don’t think I’m a chewer so, your furniture is safe with me and I love my crate at night, so don’t worry about me stealing your pillow! I like to see if I can jump higher than my foster kids can. I’m told that’s not polite, so I have been working very hard on it. I’m told that I am a very smart boy. I love other dogs, cats are cool but humans are the best in my eyes. There hasn’t been a human around yet, that didn’t get my kisses. I only bark at the chickens and ducks if my fosters dog does. I love food and treats. I don’t like when my brother tries to steal my food, so I usually eat in a separate area. Sometimes I fight my brother over a toy or special treat but I usually cave in and he wins. I need a fenced area because all the smells draw me in and I follow all of them to see where they lead. When I’m on a leash I do pull, but am getting better I’m told. I am so in love with having humans. In time, I will be the best, loyal boy ever, I’m sure of it. There is so much to love about this life. If my brother didn’t always make everything such a competition, I could relax a lot more. He’s constantly showing off his ability to fold like a taco, so I’ll jump onto him and ruin his trick. I’m trying my absolute best to be a good boy and learn all those little fancy tricks humans like. I will get it one day, I promise! If you have lots of love and Patience to give and would love a big goofy sidekick, then me or my brother would be a great fit for life. We love to love and work hard on all these new rules, it’s just hard you know? We look forward to meeting you and smelling what you have to offer!
