My Story

Scout is a female schipperke/fox terrier mix (age: 1 year; weight: 20 lbs.) She is completely housetrained, sheds very little and is very easy to give a bath. She has a lot of puppy energy and loves to play, so I would prefer her to go to a home that will have a doggie playmate for her. After playing outside she will come in, have her dinner and play quietly with her toys or the other dogs. She also enjoys cuddle time on the couch. She is a great little watchdog; she is not aggressive, nor is she a yappy dog, but she will let me know if a stranger is near. Scout is extremely smart and will make someone a wonderful companion. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed. If interested in getting more information on this little furbaby, contact Sally at (865)455-1113 or email at [email protected] .

More on the schipperke breed: The schipperke is curious, interested in everything around him, and is an excellent and faithful little watchdog. He is reserved with strangers and ready to protect his family and property if necessary. He displays a confident and independent personality, reflecting the breed's original purpose as watchdog and hunter of vermin. In appearance he is a small, thickset, cobby, black, tailless dog, with a fox-like face. (Scout has her tail; it was never docked.)
