Hi, I’m Scotty!
I am a super cute pit/boxer mix that is 100% house trained! I am a 50 pound lap dog. I absolutely love to cuddle in my foster mom’s lap or right next to her on the couch and push myself as close as I can to her. I love to give and get LOVE! My foster mom also thinks that I give great kisses! I get so excited when she comes home from work!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE treats and food!!! My foster mom is teaching me how to take treats gently because sometimes I get too excited for my treats and just can’t wait for them! My foster mom also has these really great bones filled with some cheese that I love to chew on.
I LOVE to play and love to run! My favorite toys include tennis balls and rope toys. The rope toys are especially fun when I shake them back and forth really fast and zoom around the yard with them in my mouth! My foster mom is trying to teach me “drop”, but I don’t quite know it yet. Even though I don’t know “drop” yet, I still love to play fetch!
I also love to play with other dogs! My foster mom has two great dogs that play with me all the time. We love to run around and chase each other! I really love when we visit my foster dad’s parent’s house because they have a fenced yard and I can run around and play forever with my doggie pals!
Another thing that is great about me is that I get along great with cats! My foster mom’s cat loves to pounce on my face and I just look at her like “why did you do that?” Sometimes my foster mom’s cat loves to play chase as well which is a lot of fun for both of us, but a lot of the time the cat just likes to cuddle up next to me. I don’t mind at all, she’s warm and fuzzy just like me.
I also know “sit” and 95% of the time I know “off”. My foster mom has been trying to teach me “down” and “shake”, but sometimes I just get excited and want lots of love and attention that I can’t focus on the job I am supposed to be doing!
My foster mom also said to tell you all that I am a GREAT leash walker! I don’t pull at all because I just want to be right by your side! I really enjoy taking walks and watching the world around me.
