Why at FAPL that’s where!!
This adorable young mixed breed guy is quite the love! Scooby currently weighs 42 pounds, is very friendly, walks well on a leash, and is ready for a loving family!! He’s an absolute volunteer favorite and will be a terrific family dog!
Scooby is Heartworm+ and has received his first treatment. He will need to return to FAPL on 8/5 for remaining treatments. (There is no additional fee for treatment, FAPL will cover the cost.) While he receives treatment, limited exercise and short potty breaks.
*If you visit the shelter and don’t see the particular animal you are looking for, please ask at the front desk.
No appointment is necessary to adopt. Our business hours are 11am - 4:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance.
If you have dogs and/or kids in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
