SCHMELLY

Is he a Lhasa Apso? Is he a Shih Tzu? He’s one or the other, we just can’t tell which. Schmelly is named after one of the Mutts cartoon characters. You can see by the photos what a mess this dog was when he first came in. You couldn’t even see his eyes. (And he did come in a bit smelly.) The volunteers and the animal control officers snipped and clipped, and cleaned him up. A little brushing did wonders. And then we found his eyes. What beautiful eyes! He was given his distemper and bordetella vaccinations, and frontline was applied to make sure he’s flea free. Now Schmelly (the name stuck) is available for adoption. He’s just a youngster, probably under 2 years old. He loves the world and everyone he meets, and will make someone a wonderful companion. >>>>>WONDERFUL NEWS! SCHMELLY'S BEEN ADOPTED!
