Sassy-adopted

KID TESTED MOTHER APPROVED!!! Sassy is an 7 month old female corgi/beagle mix that is looking for a new forever home. She has a wonderful personality and would be great with kids or other dogs. She has been living with 3 cats and she gets along with them, too. Sassy loves to play with her squeaky duck and run around the yard. She also smiles when she wants to impress you. This is a great dog with a sweet disposition. All she needs now is someone to love her and care for her. Sassy is spayed, up to date on shots, and ready to go to her new home. Please help Sassy. Her adoption fee is $200.00. We require a fenced yard if there are kids under the age of 12 in the home.

Adopting a dog that has been moved from a home to a shelter and then to a rescue is not for everyone. It takes time and patience to make that dog feel at home in his new environment. It takes at least 1 week and usually up to a month for a dog to acclimate to your schedule and home. An animal shelter is the most stressful place for a dog to be, with other dogs barking and not knowing what is happening around them. Some dogs come to their new home scared and timid. They will sometimes take several days before they start eating and have anything to do with the new adopters.

It's not easy rescuing a dog. It takes patience and time and LOVE. These dogs need love and understanding, not another rejection.
