Meet Sarge! The name SARGE fits this guy well because of the swagger he has when he walks. Sarge is a beautiful Pit/Lab mix born around 07/26/20. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. He weighs 57 lbs. Sarge was dumped at the Locke and Dam on the Arkansas River, injured and alone. He was timid and had to be enticed out of hiding with a good meal. After a week of this enticing, his rescuer, was able to get him into her car and take him to safety. This is what she has to say about this incredibly sweet survivor... "SARGE has the quirkiest personality. He loves people; women more than men; and kids most of all. He loves to chase and retrieve a ball or his favorite toy, a stuffed monkey. He just loves to play!! And he loves belly rubs and cracks me up trying to fit into my lap !! He has no idea how big he is! And he has the best manners! If he spills any of his food, he cleans it up before he goes back to his bowl. He's just a happy boy all of the time. He has never barked inside the house and gets along fine with my cats.
