Sarge is a very sweet, very loving lab mix that was surrenderd to a lower Westchester kill shelter when his owners took an extended vacation and didn't want to board him. He is about 10 or 11 years old.
After some extensive vetting, we know that he was probably surrendered due to his medical issues.
Sarge had a cancerous tumor removed from his belly last month and he also has advanced arthritis for which he is receiving treatment.
We are not certain how much quality life Sarge has left but we would like him to spend that time in home that will love him for whatever that time span is.
All medications/veterinary care is being sponsored by someone who loves Sarge very much and would like to help him find this special home.
