Sanji

Sanji is five years old and what you'd call a turn key dog. He could step into any family and you'd feel like he's always been there. He's a great size for those that like medium to large dogs at 75 pounds and thigh high. Sanji is crate trained but we only put him in the crate when we are all gone. At night he has slept in our bedroom on a dog bed since day one. And he doesn't get up to wander. He is not an early morning dog and enjoys sleeping in and eating late. But once he is up, he's ready for a walk. He is great on walks with little to no pulling on the leash. He ignores the dogs at the fences and the neighborhood emu has more interest in him than he does of it. He has shown no sign of resource guarding for food or toys. He loves to chase balls in the backyard and will drop it at your feet. He has a great combination of energy and chill time. He would love to curl up on our furniture if we'd let him but he respects the pillows set on the seat and doesn't even try anymore to get on furniture. He is eager to please and responds well to new commands. He likes to lay on a bed by my desk and look out the front window. At first he would bark at people walking by at the street but after a few corrections. He will now either let me know they are there with a low mumble or just quietly watch them walk by.
