This purebred male Bassett Hound has ears so long that every "head shot" we tried to get of him included his front feet.

We think he is about 12 years old, and based on his neglected condition, appears to have been an outdoor only dog. When he entered the shelter, his toenails were so long, they were curling completely around, and his coat was very dirty. He was probably abandoned and was found wandering in the area of 10 Mile Road.

In spite of what seems to have been a bad life, this old boy is very gentle and seems eager to please. He deserves someone who can give him the cushy couch-potato life he deserves. Entered shelter April 28.
