If you're looking for a very sweet and gentle medium sized Lab for a best friend, two year old Sanders might just be the one you'll fall in love with. His yellow coat has a hint of red, his teeth are pearly white and he weighs 59 pounds. Sanders is a youngster who's quick to roll over for a belly rub when meeting new friends and rewards you with a grateful smile. "A very sweet boy," remarked our vet; "I think he'll be a great dog for a lucky family," says his foster mom; "I could take him home in a heartbeat," sighed the volunteer who transported him over 300 miles from a small rural shelter where his time was up to the safety of our rescue.
Sanders easily settled into his foster home. His foster mom and dad report he's already feeling quite comfortable and is being a very good boy. He's playful and gets along well with other dogs; he's enjoying his foster brother, Sammy, and has no issues with the resident cats. Sanders walks very nicely on the leash, happy to be near you and is a polite greeter. An affectionate soul, he's extremely lovable and relishes petting.
